Meet the author

I was born and raised in Milan Georgia 55 years ago.  I have been married for 36 years to Billy Smith from of Eastman Georgia and have two boys, an adult who has given me three grandchildren and a teen that is a senior in high school.  My Mother is Annette Jones Wood and my grandparents were L .C. Jones Sr. and Julia Williams Jones. My Father was William C. " Bobby" Wood he was killed in a car/train accident in 1965 before my birth, he held a Milan City Council seat at the time of his death.  My mom was at one time the city secretary so I grew up as a child in downtown Milan everyday.  Those were the good ole days.
